Avril Lavigne Is Married!

So Avril Lavigne got married this weekend (29th June 2013) to her beau, fellow rock and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. Here she is posing up a storm on the set of a recent photoshoot with her band.

Avril has so far had one hell of a year! 
First came the news of her new album, then came the rumors of her pregnancy, then it was announced that she would no longer be designing for her clothing brand 'Abbey Dawn' and that summer 2013 would be her final collection, and then she released 'Here's to never growing up', then came the epic video and now it has been announced that at some point this weekend, Avril tied the knot in the south of France. *And Breathe!*

I'm Sorry I'm Inked Episode One 'Fly Like A Bird'

Excuse the pun! But tonight we launched our first video in the series 'I'm Sorry I'm Inked' which is a very obvious play on our name 'I'm Sorry What Did You Say' and even I admit that it's genius, how self indulgent of me.

Despite being a fashion brand, the team like culture, lifestyle and all things cookie as much as the next man, so when the opportunity came up earlier this year, we snapped it up and dived right in. Tattoo prints come up all the time, in the press, on clothing and in prints and patterns, graphics and graffiti, so we were intrigued to go and see how all this 'Tattoo graphic' faze came about and what people think about it all in the 'Inner Circle' of the tattoo world. 

Lizzie had decided to get her first tattoo, a bird on her left, between her upper chest and her shoulder, and was willing and wanted to have the process filmed. 

I was somewhat nervous and I was only the videographer! and filmed from the morning before the appointment and after, as well as tweeting throughout and taking multiple phone calls ( Ooops! not very professional)

The tattooist Tom was more than happy to answer all of our questions from fashion and tattoo art in general, yet unfortunately we didn't get them on camera, and our camera also died half way through the tattooing!

The guys at Cookies Tattoo parlour in Worcester, Worcestershire, UK were great, actually better than great, they were all really up for being filmed and were very accommodating for our zoom in needs I think that's also a good sign as let's face it they wouldn't let you film and share it with the world if they were dodgy or doing something wrong and after a couple of hours and some editing this is what we got- Lizzie now has FIVE more tattoos; so it's fare to say she likes them!

Tich You're Our Obsession!

 

So Tich has released a video for her new single 'Obsession' it's even more catchy than her debut single 'Dumb' and that was VERY catchy. ("Sorry that i've been so dumb" la la la) We've followed Tich for about a year, we love that girls style, songs and that perfect voice of hers and did we mention what a great face she has. Yes, the epitome of 'Flawless'  

The songstress is currently continuing her promotional tour in the UK ahead of the release of her debut album, which is due for release later this year (YEAHHHYY) She will then embark on a European multi show tour for all her fans in Europe, and then shall return for her UK leg of the tour.

Carly Rae Jepson at MTV Awards China

 

So Carly Rae won the 'Best newcomer' at the MTV China Awards.

Love her purple dress pre awards the purple is such a great colour on her pale skin.  Complimented by a pair of black patent high heels. Choppy fringe and light coloured, purple lined eyes photo flawless make-up.

 

She also performed at the event with China Mono Kuro the Makuhari Messe. In a fantastic alternative, music inspired  print tee. The blaring guitar graphic, was blazened across the chest in red and brown. The Canadian songstress also performed alongside Chinese girl group Mono Kuro the Makuhari Messe who were dressed in bright colours and matching hairband flower accessories and tutus with fairy inspired wings.

Let's Talk About Cake...

Well everybody it's true we're in love. Not with the hot delivery guy from DHL or the sexy little minx from one of our menswear t-shirt suppliers (Wink Wink) ;) But cake. Morning, noon and night the ISWDYS team could eat cake all day everyday and if we're not eating there is something very wrong.

 We've recently discovered instant double choca mocha, vanilla lattes and cappuccinos! They're swell and perfect for washing down a little cupcake.

Cake is good in moderation, so we're cutting down the cake to just 3 times a week (drastic we know!) that way it's more of a treat when we have it as well as eating more of the good stuff -cue the subway chicken salad with lots of ranch sauce and dressing.
