Not only is she the lyrical genius behind 'Royals' which debuted at the top spot on the billboard hot 100 in America, the teen anthem was then followed up by her video for 'Tennis Court.' Her piercing eyes, long gazes and animalistic movements really have set her aside from the rest.
Her free, wavy curls hang loose and restless. Her face is diverse with looks, from pretty girl next door in 'Royals' to hard hitting and dynamic in 'Tennis Court' with those dark lips and hair up and back, sleek and minimalist, yet still daring and striking.
Her live vocals are unfathomable. She really has honed in on her craft. A true art. True vocal and an innocent air and automatic likeability you only discover with a true artist.
Her flare for feminism has recently got her in hot water, taking on some big names within the industry. The press reports are here, there and everywhere but nothing and nobody will get in the way of this young woman's sucess.
We will never be royals, but boy oh boy would we love to be Lorde.
